Thanks - I had not realised I had Windows Start 8 installed. Now removed it and behaviour is correct. The Classic Shell start menu is vastly improved from the default one. Good job done. Thanks again.

I have made the change but same problem persists. Any further suggestions? I have attached the log following the changes to take out run as administrator.

Windows 8.1 operating system. Installed the latest version of Classic Shell Start Menu but it does not always auto start on boot up. I have checked the msconfig file to ensure it is set to start and added .exe file to the start up folder. What I have noticed is there is no entry in the Services men...
