The previous version was most likely 3.6.8 which was a new install on Lenovo laptop using Windows 7 Home premium. Not only did the Classic Shell setting revert to the defaults, but so did those for the Classic Start Menu, notably the "Start Menu Style." From now on I will save my settings ...

I just upgraded to Version 4.0.4. Suddenly all of my custom settings are gone! Any idea why this happened? Any way to get them back without redoing them again one at a time?
