Huzzah!
I did have "7+ Taskbar Tweaker" installed, once I uninstalled it, my taskbar complied with my wishes. |

Uninstalling 4.3.1 Classic Shell: Windows 10 Start button reappeared, taskbar icon underneath hidden from view. Reinstall 4.3.1 Classic: No effect, left-most icon lurks beneath the Start button. Installed 4.3.0: No effect, same result as reinstalling latest version. No other programs installed that ... |

Thanks for the reply!!
I tried unchecking "replace start button", no joy; the Windows start button appears and the underlying icon is overlapped. Haven't yet tried reinstalling but will do so.
Running Windows 10 version 1703 (OS Build 15063.674). |

As of the latest update, the Classic Start Menu's Start button is overlapping the left-most application pinned to my Windows 10 taskbar, as seen at this URL: https://i.imgur.com/nESRjd4.png I can work around this by placing a useless icon (e.g. Internet Explorer) in that spot, but is there a setting... |
