Longesthorn - Classic Shell is no longer being supported - it is now being developted as Open Shell. Doubt if you find any support in this site at this present time - kind of in-between, unless some helpful user can reply if help is available.

Lynda, mine doesn't do that - you probably can overcome this - I just don't know what you need to do. Hopefully someone in here can advise you.

Will the update (8.1.1) coming in April be handled the same way that 8.1 was handled? I am hoping Classic Shell will work after the update, as I have become dependent on it - it's just considered a part of Windows to me. Appreciate any input to relieve my mind. Thanks.
