Are you sure the start menu was shut down while you deleted the cache file? Ooops... Nope. After reading that thread I just deleted the file and logged out. Following your advice I executed ClassicStartMenu -exit and used Process Explorer (from SysInternals/MS) to verify Classic Start Menu wasn't r... |

Environment Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, version 1607 14393.1066, 64 bits Classic Shell 4.3.0 Some (but not all) executable icons just disappeared. I've deleted the DataCache.db file as Gaurav suggested in this thread: http://classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5095 but to no avail. Any ide... |

KDE's Kickoff Application Launcher has both the Applications Tab (Sort by Category) and the Classic Menu Style and you can switch between them at any time.

Personally I find that the second column is better utilized for showing expandable/cascading folders. Icons in the tray (notification area) for the apps you use already pretty much do what Live Tiles do except that they are not as space-hogging as Live Tiles. I see Live Tiles as just as gimmick on ... |

Yep. Posting just to confirm this. After executing a search, you have to click the menu items for displaying the submenus, they don't open on hovering anymore.
Environment: Windows 8.1 64bits / Classic Shell 4.0.2 / Classic Style.
