It's exactly as Ed3 describes it, which seems to be the same as in Ivo's link.

Using Ed's steps, I can always reproduce this behavior and fix it.

In fact, just searching in the search box doesn't affect the submenus, you have to click on a search result in order to deactivate submenus.

Today it happened on 3 machines, however, the configuration of these machines is somewhat cloned. Still I didn't notice a reproducable pattern, but in two cases it occurred after the machines have been left alone for some time.

It's stopping completely all of a sudden (at least, I can't yet recognize a pattern).

After restarting CS it is working fine again.

Hi there, after using CS 3.* on my home PC for almost a year now, I'm in the process of upgrading the PCs in my small office to Win 8, German version. On the first two machines that I installed the submenus in the Start menu (Classic style) behave strange. After rebooting, the submenus work fine and...
