| 3) No, there are no taskbar, no desktop with icons and wallpaper - only 1 colour, where I can run Task Manager via Ctrl+Shift+Esc. 1 time worked Alt+F4, last time Alt+F4 not worked - I shut down PC via key on system block (was soft mode). |

3) No. Same problem is only with uninstalling all beta builds on 8.1x64rus.
4) But not free analogs make it (StartIsBack+ Beta, Start8 Beta). |

| Now look at all those icons - most likely in the Windows 8.1 icons are displayed in 8 bpp color instead of 32 bpp, so the control panel icon with a white stripe at the bottom. |

| MultiExtractor can easy extract resources. There are only 2 formats - ICO (up to 256x256) and 256x256 PNG. As seems from my table above - original Windows 7 get not scaled images, CS - scaled from 256x256 (Win 7 documents). Then may be enable scaling and for 125% screen trimming? |

| Original Windows 7 menu uses different icons for different settings for the screen size (100%, 125%, 150%), which correspond to these dimensions (for example, a document icon have different number of strips). CS does not increase the icons when you zoom the screen controls. |

I try update video driver, delete driver, bootup safe mode - problem stays.
Can really be a problem in the Russian language Windows 8.1? For example here glitter3 said that he installed the language pack. |

| Now more thoroughly tested ClassicShell 3.6.8 - is only the icons are flashing between the first installation and the logoff system or reboot. Next do not blink - and thank you for that. |

Normal state:
Win8.1 x64 Russian.
Always reproduced:
1) Run some program from this start menu
2) Move cursor in left corner to start menu, left click, move cursor to opened menu.
3) If click not in left corner then all OK. |
