Thanks for reply.

For some reason i could not uninstall Classic Shell even though uninstall program i have uninstalled it.Re-started pc and classic shell program was still on my desktop.So i clicked the link provided and re-installed Classic Shell 4.2.1 and everything is ok

I have updated version 4.2.0 to latest version 4.2.1 but when i launch the program the version number still shows 4.2.0 on headings.I know i have updated it..or is still downloading version 4.2.0. ?

Downloaded from official Classic Shell website.

Version 4.0.2 works exactly how i want it to with my version of Windows 8.1

The screenshot you gave showed the strange fonts at bottom of taskbar i was experiencing.I will try the latest version of ClassicShell 4.0.1 and see how it behaves with Windows 8.1
