Thanks for the info. I do run Win7 with the Windows Classic theme, which matches your explanation. I guess I was hoping that ClassicShell could fix this broken Windows Explorer behavior, too. After all, the "wrong" icon (i.e. the icon for whatever is currently selected) is also used in the...

Whether this setting is checked or not, my Explorer is always showing the icon of the currently selected item in the title bar and therefore on the task bar. The varying icons on the Task Bar make it VERY difficult to locate already open instances of Explorer. I've tried both settings for the checkb...
