.
I have Classic Shell 4.3.1. Windows 11. Dell XPS 17.

I accidentally deleted my Start button for Classic Shell. (I think I right-clicked, then left-clicked whatever might have been under the point at that instant.)

How do I restore the button please ?

Thanks
.

@juniper7, Your screenshot for "Main Menu" tab shows "Recent Progams" selected. But I had "Frequent programs" selected. When I reversed these two selections, I got my previous Start menu back. All very mysterious - I don't think I've changed these options for years. Any...

I have Classic Shell 4.3.0, in Win 10 Pro. It has been working fine for a few years. But recently, the "recent programs" section is empty. The "Start Menu Style" in Settings is "Classic with two columns" Previously, when I clicked "Start", I could see, from to...

Hi @Jcee. Your analysis looks reasonable.

Thanks.

My normal Start Menu Style is Classic with 2 columns. While in the Start Menu, I must have accidentally selected the wrong thing. I can't remember what I was doing - but possibly deleting a recent program from the left column. When I re-opened the Start Menu, the menu was the same as I would see by ...

. The number of rows of tabs will increase or decrease depending on how the Settings window is sized. On Windows 7, the tab names are longer so they will be displays on 3 rows. On Windows 8 and Windows 10, tab names are shorter. Duh  I apologize for wasting everyone's time - especially fonpaol...

. Thanks for your generosity and hanging in. Most responders would have given up by now :) I've attached a screenshot for each style. All screenshots show only two rows of tabs. So, to repeat my question: What do I need to do to see 3 rows of tabs? It would be nice if some other kind people would jo...

. Depending on what style you're using, the settings menu will display the appropriate row of tabs I don't think I asked a good question in my last post. So, let's start again :-) In order to post your very informative screenshot, you must have used a specific sequence of steps. Can you please list ...

If I understand the question correctly, it's here: IMHO: That's exactly what I'm looking for. (I won't know until I try it.) So thanks for that. I can see that 3 files have been added so far. New subject: Your screenshot shows many more options than I can see (you have 3 rows of tabs). The titles o...

Sorry I could't see a section for "forum bugs". I'm new to the forum. I registered and logged in. In "Classic Start Menu", I searched for "recent items", and got the following message: - The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common w...
