It's broken alright. I've posted this problem many months ago here - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6934
Hope there will be a fix to this, otherwise I will not be moving over to the creators update. I will stay with the anniversary edition.

This problem still exists on the final build of the Creators update. They must of made some changes to the taskbar from the Anniversary edition. Otherwise, everything else on Classic Shell works fine for me.

On Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14936.1000) the texture is not showing on the entire taskbar, only on the left and right sides, however everything looks fine on Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.222) I'll attach a screen shot of both desktops. Perhaps this is just a bug on this new Window...
