Using Firefox I can download this file without any problems.

While I can confirm that version 1607 tried its best to block Classic Shell, the update problem already existed before - and still does. Manually downloaded and installed version 4.3.0 but the behavior didn't change. The dialog "Checking for updates" briefly pops up and the result stays &q...

Hi, I joined the party with Classic Shell version 4.2.5. So far, I never got any update notification and clicking "Check now" yields "Failed to check for new version". According to this thread these problems should actually have vanished with Classic Shell 4.1.0? Windows 10 pro x...
