I use Word Perfect X6 and Quattro Pro X6 for my word processing and spreadsheet programs. (Gasp non Microsoft) Also use Drake Professional Software 2012. When I open the programs, the programs do not show up in the recently opened program section of the Classic Start shell. I am using version 3.6.8 ...

Figured out what was wrong. Got an update to GeForce Experience 1.6. It superimposed the Windows 7 start button over your start button. Uninstalled Geforce Experience and your start button reverts back to normal.

Have been using your start menu and start button for quite some time. Am to used to the old classic menu to change into what Microsoft wants me to change.
