So is there no way to have Classic Shell or Classic Explorer modify this change?

Just tried both methods with 3.9.0 beta, and neither work. Custom commands will force show <No Text> and changing Max recent programs has no effect. I don't keep many frequently used programs listed, but I would love to be able to use my dual-column Windows 7 start menu without scrolling under All P...
