I have this problem as well. Classic Shell 3.6.8 on windows 7 x64. Only feature I have installed is the start button integration. No explorer shell or ie integration. If I right-click the start menu, exit Classic Shell and then restart/shutdown/log off desktop icons positions are remembered. If I do...
