Yes! I was afraid it was something simple. The left-click setting wasn't checked. Is that enabled by default? I don't think I unchecked it, but I could be wrong. Thanks so much to Gaurav and Ivo for your help and your quick responses. Donation coming soon. I believe in supporting freeware.

It's a new computer with just Windows Defender for now. I tried making an exception for classicstartmenu.exe, then disabled Defender completely. No luck. Sigh... Am I the only one who's had a problem with this product and Windows 10?

No, I'm afraid not. Nor does it work if I run as administrator.

The Classic Start Menu is enabled to start automatically, but it doesn't work. I see no change to the Windows 10 start menu that I hate more with each passing day. Please help. I'd love to donate some money to the cause if I could get this to work. I tried re-installing. Thanks, Jim

Hello. I've installed classic shell, configured settings, and enabled the classic start menu to 'run automatically for this user'. Nothing, just the icon for the start menu. Nothing's changed. I hate the Windows 10 start menu because I can't customize it. I've rebooted several times. Am I missing so...
