@brad1138, you are consistently getting a black screen with only a mouse pointer and nothing else upon reboot? No, it happened twice during the multiple restarts I had as I was installing Windows 10 (clean, and other software) on my daughters computer. It hasn't happened in a few days now, it start...

Ah right he's using the default button. Yes, in that case, @brad1138, you can make the Classic Start menu not follow the Windows DPI by using the "Override system DPI" setting on the "Menu Look" tab. Try setting its value to 96 and then log off and login in to see the Start butt...

Even the monitors are the same, shouldn't be any difference, but I will check that. Not sure where to check it though.

I had/have this same problem, but didn't have any idea what was causing it. If it happens again, I will try uninstalling Classic shell.
