At the very least, the solution should be on the FAQ's shouldn't it? It makes one of the major niggles with windows 8 just disappear!

Could you not add in a start menu option that allowed management of wireless networks? there are various pages out there that offer solutions in the way of custom folders (for example) and it seems odd that this is not inculded as standard in classic shell.
