I see the interesting option, unfortunately I'm not using the Windows 7 style but the classic style with 2 columns (and a Windows 10 skin).

I'm using 4.3.0, on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition 64 bits. Yes I know I need to close the settings window. Now I remember, indeed I did modify the color in the past, and I did not think setting back the color to default would pick it automatically from Windows theme (I thought default meant the def...

Indeed, it does the same at me, but it seems that as soon as an app is brought on screen by clicking on it in the taskbar, closing this app will unhide the taskbar. However, as soon as I switch to another window without using the taskbar, this behaviour will stop (closing any app will not unhide the...

There's something that kinda bugs me since it has been introduced: with Classic Shell you can enable an option to change the transparency of the taskbar. But if you enable that option, then you also have to set the color, which means that it doesn't follow Windows' color anymore. I don't understand ...

This is an old thread (2014), and since then an option has been added in the Controls tab to use the Win+X menu on right click. Exactly what standarduser
was asking for.

Hi guys! I'm on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition 64-bit, and there's an issue with the Classic Start Menu. I use the auto-hide feature for the taskbar. I generally don't have any problem. However, sometimes, after using the Classic Start Menu, the task bar won't hide, even after opening it again, clic...

You could try the advices given in this thread and see if it improves?

I'm not sure if it's right to post in an old thread on this forum, but as I've noticed something about this issue I see no point in creating a new one. I've had this delay too when showing the Start Menu (4.2.7). I've tested several things, and found out that showing the frequent programs with Show...

Oops... I fell stupid for not having read this thread... :?

Thank you!
I've tested some modifications with ResHack and the tips still work, so I'm directly gonna edit the fr-FR.dll file. :)

EDIT: False alert... it's disabling tips in some parts (where there are lists at least).

With this menu I got even faster at accessing things that I was with the original menu, and on Windows 8/Windows 10, I couldn't have lived without it. Plus, it's pretty.

So: big big THANK YOU to the creators. :D

Hi everyone! :) I'm currently attempting to correct the French translation , and I'm about half done. The thing is that a lot seem to have been translated with some automatic translator, so there are lots of mistakes, like useless or missing capital letters, wrong or missing accents, grammar, syntax...
