I previously had the Hyper-V Windows component installed. I uninstalled it just now and rebooted the PC. Now the PC Settings link on the Start Menu won't open PC Settings (it simply doesn't do anything when clicked). I can still access PC Settings via right-clicking my network icon in the System Tra...

Wow, m*therf*ckers... Why on hell would some random guys do that? I installed CS about 2-3 days ago, but I downloaded it from here, the main page, and I didn't got this malware thing. By the way, you should edit the main message. Hackers are the GOOD guys, Cyber Criminals are the BAD guys. Hackers ...

Just an idea, while it is good to have the warning on the main website I feel like it would make a crap ton more sense for it to be moved from the "What is Classic Shell?" section to the "News" section to the right. Where it is currently is very crowded with other information and...

Hmm, so it wasn't immediately obvious that "Search" is considered to be a System File. The Hide Apps option does not hide it, is this an oversight/bug in Classic Shell?

I figured that would hide the entire "Apps" folder, not those sparse app shortcuts that don't reside in that folder, thanks for informing me of the setting. I realize now that the tooltip when hovering over the setting explains what it does but the wording of the option it self made me not...

Devices Flow Miracast Play to Renderer Print Dialog Settings The above don't appear in "Customize Start Menu" for Classic Style and Windows 7 Style, they are only present on my Dad's PC. None of them have a Delete or Rename option in the right-click context menu and if I attempt to move th...

Huh, I didn't realize the "Open" and "Open all users" options when right-clicking the Start Menu button opened the Start Menu locations in Windows Explorer. Handy shortcuts! I'll use these in future for bulk changes.

It would be nice if deleting shortcuts on the Start Menu did not close the Start Menu. It's annoying if there are multiple shortcuts in a folder you want to delete but you don't want to completly delete the entire folder. You have to navigate back to the folder over, and over, and over....

Hi, could you please provide a means of hiding/renaming/deleting/organizing the Start Menu items that Windows 10 will warn you about because it considers them to be System Files, without the changes breaking anything? Their just clutter to an otherwise neat and orderly Start Menu. Alternatively a me...

The problem seems to be intermittent (I don't often right-click a HDD), if I can get it to happen again I'll mess with programs that are integrating in to Windows Explorer/adding to context menues.

Their all 11 Megabytes here, even when uncompressed. Is your file decompresser working okay? Maybe try 7zip or Winrar?

Windows Explorer hangs when right-clicking HDD's in the left pane (Dual pane view), right-clicking HDD's in the right pane (When looking at "This PC") works fine. I performed procdump -n 10 -s 1 explorer.exe & then triggered the Hang while it was generating dump logs, I've attached the...

Ah, okay. I see what to do now. I didn't think I could change stuff in the Commands column like that. I don't see a way to add a new entry to that list but I can modify an existing entry that I've set to Hidden to PC Settings without issue.

Windows 7 style Start Menu does not feature the option, windows 9x style Start Menu does. I was going to report this myself but I see someone already did. I also don't see a way to add a shortcut to the Start Screen on the Windows 7 start menu either.
