So in that long message what you are saying is that both Open and Classis Shell do not allow the old Windows Start menu? You have the boring and useless window with whatever you have pinned. You have to search for a program and then choose from that program's old start menu. |

I did a search for the file it was looking for in the registry and deleted it. Install works now. Not sure how I missed that the first time. |

When I run the install of the new version it still cant find the uninstall for 4.3.0 which is baffles me because its nowhere in the regi... |

Even if you successfully use the Run command in the Windows System folder and it then appears in the... |

I know this is a picky item but I think people may agree with this suggestion. The Win+X menu is sometimes helpful, I know using Classic Shell gives us all of those items the old way, but if you check this box to view this menu when you right click, then you lose the Classic Shell menu. So you cant ... |

Thank you this did work for me. App Menu works fine now. By "screen goes blank", I guess that the taskbar disappears as well and reappears? It can be that Explorer.exe is crashing as soon as you click the button to open the Start Menu. You could try a fix that was recently developed after ... |

No matter what I do with the last 2 versions, the app menu will not show the apps. In fact the second I cursor over that item, waiting for apps to appear, Classic Shell restarts. So I go to the Metro screen for a second and then Classic Shell reopens. Anyone else have this? So again not only do I ha... |
