Why would classicshell be less usable with a fully functional classic mode? Remember that what classictheme does is disabling the theme via a process thread upon starting windows it adds little other tweaks but Ivo figured how to make a startbutton purehaps its not a bad idea if he add context menus...

hiding the adress bar completely in windows 8 and windows 10 is a good idea maybe additional options to move it to the menu bar along with the small sized classicshell buttons which will look good especially after disabling the ribbon with tge noribbon on winaero.

actually its interacting with dllhost , when dllhost.exe is turned off then its all fine the only thing i did was denying system access to webcache folder that messed up classicshell and the startmenu could only open one time and crash . my fix to this was to dig out the dllhost for windows xp and p...

Why not make an option to hide the adressbar but add a custom adressbar into the menubar? Then the back forward and up buttons from classicshell are skinnable and can be made for fitting our themes well

Yes it would be a great idea for making a custom theme i disabled the folderband crap already with reshacker but getting rid of the adress bar and its ugly buttons maybe add a small adressbar at the menubar (if that's even possible) getting a more compact view
