Oh my bad, I may have sounded a bit confusing. I thought I read that you had version 4.1.3, you said 4.3.1, which is newer than mine. Sorry about the slight confusion.

So yea, try doing what Ivo said, he's the creator, he knows best, you probably forgot to put that check mark.

Hello, yes I'll show you what to do. First thing though, I'm running Classic Explorer 4.3.0. Check to see if you have those options in your version before getting this new version. If your version has this setting then you're good. Open Classic Explorer settings and refer to the picture I attached. ...

Hi, I just want to post back on here to state that this has been fixed. There is a feature within Classic Explorer now that allows the modification of the Status Bar font & size.

=) Alright thanks so much!
And you're right, since it's already in existence, no need to implement it with Classic Shell.
And cool little app Taskbar Numberer, I'm reading up a bit about it. But thanks for your reply!

..see you in another Topic Gaurav! =D

Woops, never mind. I figured out which program allows me to do that. It's not Classic Shell; It's 7+ Taskbar Tweaker's first option. Yet I am unable to use that program.. yet, because of the Windows 10 update. It will eventually be fixed. No intention on linking out, but if anyone is also interested...

Hello, I used to have Windows 8.1, and now I've upgraded to Windows 10. On Windows 8.1, I somehow managed to set the settings for when I right click on a small open window in the Taskbar, it used to show the [Restore, Move, ..., Close] Menu. It's the same menu for when you press Shift+Right...

Alright, so I messed around a bit again with all this. I noticed that I prefer to keep the DPI at exactly 100% since that is what is shown as accurate (for example, when I want to type a document, I want to see its exact size before printing it; I don't want to see it enlarged on the computer and no...

Oh, I never knew you can type in a new number or adjust the ruler by dragging it. I clicked the drop down menu and just assumed that the options are restricted to those values. But still, changing the height of the status bar, and font size, is more preferable for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried messing around with the DPI settings and noticed that just increasing it one notch (from 100% to 125%) increases the size of a lot of other things just way too much. It would've been nice if Microsoft programmed that setting for me to put any number I want (for exa...

Hello, If this has been discussed before, I apologize for not being able to find the thread for it. But I attached a picture of what I'm talking about. Is it possible to increase the font size of where it says how many items are in a folder & the size of the total files there. I drew green arrow...

YES! Thank you so much for your suggestion, because I found a program to convert the 'cmd' file to an 'exe' file (http://f2ko.de/en/b2e.php) . In the 'exe's properties, I set it to run as an administrator! Now I can click on the start button, put the mouse on the arrow next to 'Shut Down...' and pre...

I have Windows 8.1, and the same thing applies here; the "run as admin" setting is also grayed out. So I actually created a shortcut to that .cmd file, and was able to set the shortcut to run as admin. Yet the odd thing is that I let Classic Start Menu run that shortcut instead, but still ...

You're right, sorry if I didn't mention that Ctrl+Shift makes it run as an admin. Yes that's the whole reason for the Ctrl+Shift. And I've actually tried what you posted; I made a shortcut to the .cmd file and set it to always run as admin, and I made Classic Start Menu settings to run that shortcut...

Hi, I was actually referring to my long post above. I created that "Hibernate" link as a custom link to open a ".cmd" file (Take a look at that post above). Is there any way that I can make an extra custom command in Classic Start Menu that can hold down Ctrl+Shift when I click t...

Is there a way that when I click that "Hibernate" link, I could have Classic Shell automatically press Ctrl+Shift for me with the click of that link? Is there some code that I can put in that link's settings to do that for me?

Thanks.

The whole point of this idea is to avoid keeping the big hiberfil.sys file sitting in your hard drive, so you can have a few more GB of space to use. I am curious, has anyone found my previous post useful at all?

Here ya go! I actually figured it all out!!! There's only one little set back about it that I cannot figure out: • You must press Ctrl+Shift when clicking Hibernate, that's it! Like I said, if this feature gets implemented into Classic Shell, that would be great. Let me give you the tutorial on how ...

I tried your suggestion 2 posts before this one. That's a really nice feature that I didn't know about. Thank you for posting that. I wanted to see if I can minimize that number as much as possible, but apparently 50% (4 GB, for my computer) is the only possible lowest percentage I can set for the H...

Sorry for the late response, but thanks for the reply. I'll check out what you said about the hibernate feature, but I must've not explained it too well. What I meant to say was to have that "Hibernate" listed in the shut down list menu, and if I click it, Classic Shell would open some com...

Hello, I want to suggest an idea which is really cool and actually would work really nice: As you know, when you enable Hibernate on your computer, it creates a huge file (C:\hiberfil.sys) just as big as the RAM you have in your computer. But why create and keep that big useless file? It's only good...

Loldvertisement for Classic Explorer =P I don't have anything against Classic Explorer, I just like the visual theme that Microsoft uses for their buttons and all, with the pictures and everything. Ah, I see. I tried out that program you were referring to. So it would be a matter of preference of those choices: 1) I can have the ribbon, yet that would keep that little QAT arrow, or 2) I can switch it off, and it would remove the File, Home, Share, etc... buttons and replace them with an old sc...

Hmm, thanks for the reply Ivo. If I'm not mistaken, you're the creator of this program. Thanks for that, it's great. Hello, I would've thought that this option would exist in Classic Explorer. I am wondering how I can remove that arrow, since I don't really use the Quick Access Toolbar; I'm more old-school, and love simple visuals, I like the folder's icon/picture by itself in the top left side of Explorer's windo...

Oh alright. I made this suggestion just because it would be nice to minimize the amount of programs open at once. It would've just been nice to have features all in one main location, if you see what I'm saying.

Thanks for that link, I'm checking out new stuff in there. Much appreciated.
